Our SEO Process – Off-Page optimization

  • Link Building

Link building is perhaps the most important off page technique used in SEO. This means creating links in other websites that are directed back to your website. Search engines pay great attention to the quality, number and source of such links. Search engines crawl or rather look for the number of links that point back to your site and the more they find the better. However, natural or organic links are much preferred than artificial links. This involves submission of a website’s title, link and short description about the business to directories essentially in the correct segment for desired results. With recent developments in SEO techniques, this method has become unimportant but can be worth it if submitted to quality directories.

This is quite similar to directory submissions the only difference being that here we submit informative articles packed with relevant material and also include one or two links that are redirected to the client website if necessary to reputed article sites like Ezine, Go Articles, Now Public, Buzzle, etc.

  • Blogs

For this we write blogs on topics that are relevant to the client’s website and submit them over numerous free blog sites like WordPress, Tumblr, Google Blogger, Weebly, blog directories and blog search engines, etc. and also incorporate links in this uniquely created content if needed to lead a reader to our client’s website. New blogs give a reason to readers to keep coming back for more.

  • Commenting in Blogs

For this we find and visit different blogs that are relevant and leave comments there along with backlinks directed to our client’s website. This technique is also known as blog marketing.

  • Forum Postings

This is probably the best way to create backlinks for a website. After creating accounts in different but relevant forums, we reply to an ongoing thread or post a question to initiate a discussion and also post replies. Some of these forums have a signature facility that allows us to add a few keywords which keep appearing automatically as signatures every time we participate in the discussion.

  • Social Media Optimization (SMO)

Social media primarily comprises the various social networking sites that allow sharing of content. Listing in local directories work well for businesses who are more focussed in promoting their business at a local level.
